We open this latest issue with Glenn Fabry who was one of the seminal artists from 2000AD in the UK, and then became one of favorite cover illustrators for the Vertigo line of comics in the USA. Then we remember Glen Orbik who brought back all the thrills and chills from the crime pulp covers of the 1940s into the new millennium. We take a look back at Howard Chandler Christy, creator of the Christy Girl, and then at some German children's books about children behaving badly and how they inspired some popular comic strips and animated cartoons.
